Mike is the Quaker Camp director and head coach. While at Penn he guided the Penn Varsity 4+ to an undefeated 2005 season and a bronze medal at the Eastern Sprints Regatta. Mike has also coached Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Everett Rowing Association, and the Lake Lanier Rowing Club.
Mike Irwin

Lightweight Head Coach

Mike Irwin has been the lightweight head coach for five years. In 2005, his varisty finished third at the IRA Regatta and sixth at the Eastern Sprints. Prior to Penn, Irwin was an assistant coach at Yale for seven seasons.
Eric Carcich

Freshman Heavyweight Coach
University of Pennsylvania
Eric Carich is in his first season as an assistant coach at Penn. Carcich served as the assistant lightweight coach at Yale for seven seasons before coming to Penn. During his tenure, he helped Yale to five medals at the Eastern Sprints. Prior to Yale, Carich was head coach at his alma mater, Massachusetts.
